"hosts file" Angaben in Activation anleitung?

Hey,

ich bin leider recht ahnungslos, was diesen hosts file part in folgender Anleitung angeht. Worauf genau bezieht sich das und was ist dort zu tun?

Der Auszug stammt aus der Aktivierung zur Bandicam Software (hier vom Board geladen).

Über etwas Hilfe oder einen Hinweis würde ich mich freuen.

Code:

1. Remove the previously installed version using special software Revo Uninstaller or others.

2. Run "BC Reset.exe" as Admin.

3. Copy "msimg32.dll" to program folder, then run keygen to register program.



Also add to hosts file:

0.0.0.0 www.bandicam.com

0.0.0.0 bandicam.com

0.0.0.0 www.bandisoft.com

0.0.0.0 bandisoft.com

0.0.0.0 cert.bandicam.com

0.0.0.0 ssl.bandisoft.com



Note: Run the BC Reset couple of times, till the app is activated

Die hosts Datei findest du hier:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Bearbeiten mit einem Textverarbeitungsprogramm (Wordpad z.B.; dieses als Administrator starten).

Einträge verhindern, dass das Programm "nach Hause telefoniert".
