Iphone 3GS 3.1 downgrade auf 3.0
 

Hallo, zusammen hier hab da was gefunden das man 3.1 auf 3.0 downgraden kann, ist das möglich oder ist ein fake.


iPhone 3GS 3.0 users have got tools to jailbreak as well as tool to unlock. You can jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.0 with purplera1n release by geohot and unlock with Ultrasn0w. iPhone Dev team has already warned to all iPhone users not to upgrade to any iPhone OS 3.1 Beta or final release till iPhone Dev team come up with solution to preserve jailbreak and unlock.

We are sure due to eagerness and out of curiosity or by mistake many users would have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.1 and now looking for the way to downgrade back iPhone OS 3.0. For those users here is guide on How to Downgrade iPhone 3GS 3.1 to 3.0 Firmware.
Please Note: With this Guide you can only downgrade your firmware but not baseband. Even after downgrading iPhone 3G3.1 to 3.0 your baseband will be still 05.08.01.

Requirement: iTunes 8.2

Original iPhone 3GS 3.0 Firmware

How to Downgrade iPhone 3GS 3.1 to 3.0 Firmware
1. Start your iTunes 8.2 & Connect your iPhone 3GS to computer via USB

2. Switch of your iPhone and put it in DFU mode with following instructions

- Click the Home + Power On button for 10 seconds exactly

- Release the power button and continue to click on Home

3. Following message will be displayed in iTunes 8.2. Click on “OK”



4. Now Press ALT key on keyboard and click on Restore button on iTunes

5. Locate & Select the original iPhone 3GS 3.0 firmware



6. A Confirmation message will be displayer. Click on Restore



7. A Restore Process will start. At the end of restore process following error message “Unknown error occurred (1015)” will be displayed.



8. Do not panic with above error message. You just need to ignore above error message and click on OK button

9. Download iRecovery for Mac and iRecovery for Windows

10. Extract connect of iRecovery on Desktop



11. Go to terminal on Mac and on Command prompt on Windows and type following command

cd Desktop

iRecovery -s

12. Once you see a Message entering in Recovery Mode, Starting command prompt on screen type following command

Fsboot




13 Once the iPhone 3GS has been restarted, you see the “Emergency calls only” and You need to reactivate tour iPhone 3GS via iTunes

14. Either you can restore a backup or configure your iPhone 3GS as new phone and you are back to iPhone 3G 3.0 Firmware.

15. Now you can jailbreak your iPhone 3GS 3.0 with Purplera1n. Download Purplera1n from here & Check out how to jailbreak guide for iPhone 3GS 3.0.

So weit ich weiß nicht,da das Baseband gleich bleibt

baseband bleibt gleich, steht ja auch oben, aber dann sollte man trotzdem jailbreaken können, nur nicht unlocken, was für tmobile user eig eh uninteressant ist, ich probiers jedenfalls jetzt mir itunes 8.2.1, hoffe das ist egal ob 8.2 oder 8.2.1!

bei mir kam ein anderer fehler als oben angegeben beim downgraden und nun erkennt mein pc mein iphone nit mehr :D gut

Was soll dann bitteschön der Sinn im Downgraden sein ?
Jailbreaken kann man auch 3.1

Falsch!!!

Ein Jailbreak ist unter OS 3.1 aktuell nur mit dem iPhone 3G möglich.
An einer Lösung für das 3GS wird gearbeitet.

Hat diesen downgrade laut obiger Anleitung schon wer gemacht und war erfolgreich? :confused:

bei mir hats nicht geklappt und in andern foren wird auch bestätigt das es nicht funktioniert

ich habe auch ein iPhone 3Gs (gekauft mit 3.0) und habe es ganz einfach mit 3.1 gejaibreakt.
falls es jmd. interresiert:

Firmware laden:

iTunes starten (getestet mit 9 unter MacOS X SL)

iPhone dran -> [ALT] + Wiederherstellen

Geladene Custom Firmware auswählen

warten...

Hab das so ähnlich mit dem 3G gemacht und dann mit meinem einfach Versucht... hat geklappt! ;)

Es kamen bei mir weder Fehler noch sonst was...

PS: Beim 3G ging das sogar als 3.1 schon ungejailbreakt drauf war

Bei mir hat es geklappt habe 3G 16GB aber alles Super! JB 3.1 drauf und läuft

Jap, mein iPhone 3GS habe ich ganz problemlos mit blackra1n gejailbreakt. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
Fehlt nur noch das Unlock. Hab da was von Greenpo1son gehört o.Ä. Habt ihr ne Vermutung, wann das Unlock fürs 3GS FW3.1 raus sein wird?
SOll ich die FW auf 3.0 downgraden (wenns geht) oder soll ich auf den 3.1 unlock warten?
