Welcome Litter D! Godzuki had four boys and two girls born on July 3rd, 2016.

The round thing in the whelping box is a heated puppy nest. The mother's name is Godzuki. The father's name is King Ghidora. We own both parents. The puppies' color is called brindle or tora (tiger). They were born around noon on July 3rd. Although they appear almost black now, the puppies will have coloration like their mom when they grow up.

The parents are purebred Japanese Akitas from Japan. They are not American Akitas or mixed with American Akita. They have health clearances for hips and eyes through OFA and an independent thyroid panel. We show our dogs in AKIHO, NIPPO, and UKC. We also do nose work, lure coursing, and barn hunt. We are members of AKIHO and the Japanese Akita Club of America (JACA) and work tirelessly to preserve and protect the breed. We occasionally foster dogs for rescue and often give financial assistance to Akita rescues through JACA Cares or directly.

The puppies are NOT AVAILABLE. We have a long waiting list and lots of great homes to choose from before we even begin planning a litter. Our screening process is very selective. All pups come with health warranties, microchip, spay/neuter if sold as a pet, and our promise to be on call 24/7 for anything the owner may need. We support our extended Kaiju Family for the lifetime of the dog. We will also accept back any pup we bred at any time for any reason.
