If you use a DSlite, put the file in your SD card which finished by : DSL.nds
Then, just run it.

If you use a DSi, the firmware must be 1.4 or less. Then put the file in your SD card wich finisheb by : DSi.nds. Then just run it.

DSTWO upgrade in THREE methods:
1. There is a *.dat file copy to MicroSD, DSTWO can auto detect it and run it. Now we use now.

If DSTWO be blocked.
2. DSTWO system is very special design, just replace a system file in MicroSD can jailbreak DSi.

If method 2 also don’t work
3. DSTWO has powerful built-in CPU. Even it has been totally blocked by DSi. Just insert the DSTWO into the DSi, the DSi provide the power to the slot 1, DSTWO CPU still can get power from it, than, DSTWO CPU can run a special upgrade file in MicroSD.
To use: download the .zip file and copy "system1.dat" to "root/_dstwo"folder and replace the same-name file.

1. All machines are upgradable: even your machine has already been in firmware 1.4.1. And no need to find another bootable machine to perform the upgrading process.
2. risk-free: flash card will not be damaged even the upgrading process is not successfully.
3. fast and easy to update
just plug in the "programming cable" and wait for about 30sec.

Anleitung

Instructions:

- Format your memory card and place the DSTT kernel provided above.
- Then place the DSTTi fix files in the root drive of your memory card.
- Plug the AC adapter on the outlet and plug it to your DS (charging indicator must be up.. since the battery tends to drain fast.)
- Place the memory card in your DSTTi and boot it up on your DS.
- Select the TTi update.
- On the first batch. It should check files (CRC check the files to be sure that the flashing will went well.)
*****Warning: Full charged battery and you plugged in the AC charger.
- Place it on your table for a while to avoid bricking your DSTTi.. since most of the cart tends to freeze when you moved them anyway.
- Then it will say that Press X+Y to begin...
- The update will erase the flash memory and its content (finished around 5mins)
- Then a programming will show up (10mins or more..)
*****My battery indicator flash a red color in this step.. but anyway.. its around 90% on that way.
- Then you will hear a fancy melody with a message that you successfully updated your DSTTi internal firmware.
- In this case.. you only have to do is to press any key to turn off. (dunno... but in my case.. it was just restarted @ DSi menu.. lol)
- Done.. you can now update your DSi.

1.4.1 Break Though


Please follow the steps below to update the card firmware.

1. extract ex4ds_141_fix.nds to your root folder of TF card
2. run ex4ds_141_fix.nds on your NDS, NDSL or NDSi which version should be below 1.4.1 or 1.4.2C
3. Wait for firmware verification then press L + Start to update your card.
4. Do NOT power off or restart your DS while updating.

5.Pull out your r4ids and reinsert it again.
6.Press Key A and the upgrading will begin.
7.If "upgrading succeeds" shows, it means your r4ids has been upgraded successfully.
8.If Card check fail,please reinsert the card and try once again.
9.Attentionuring the whole process,you should keep your NDSi powered on.
10.This program can be used to upgrade r4ids continually.You can insert another r4ids and upgrade it after one is finished.

How to use
----------

1. Obtain the required ROM file, which for this version of the updater is
"0583 - Shikakui Atama wo Maruku Suru DS Joushiki Nanmon no Shou".
Please see below for further details.
2. Insert a MicroSD card into a card reader, then insert the card reader into
your PC. The MicroSD must be formatted with FAT/FAT32.
3. Launch the bootstrap updater executable, EdgeBootUpdate.exe
4. In the bootstrap updater GUI, select the drive corresponding to your
MicroSD reader
5. Using the "..." button, navigate to the ROM file specified in step 1
6. Press the "Update" button to place the bootstrap update on your MicroSD card
7. Using the MicroSD card, update your iEDGE bootstrap according to instructions
found in the iEDGE reference manual
